Thyroid problem
I'm on thyroid medications. I think i'm having this since when I was 18 or 19 years old..that time i used to have frequent loose motions and weakness, easily tired. I never bothered to visit the doctor. Now i'm 25 and I'd faced sudden hair loss on my crown, dry coarse thin and brittle hair since the past 9 months. That's when i went for a check and realised my tsh level was at 11.78. I took results from two different tabs, just to ensure. I'm taking thyrocare 75mcg meds since the past 7 months and just did another blood test today and luckily it has reduced to 1.89. Should I continue the same medications? My hair fall has stopped but not completely but its not as it was used to. Will new hairs grow back? Thanks in advance.

Homeopathy works wonders in treatment of thyroid problems since it works on your immune system to treat it , unlike allopathy which gives external aid of thyroid hormone, hence has to be taken for life. Also it causes calcium depletion from bones over the period. Homeopathy has no side effects like this. It brings back the levels to normal range with taking care of hairfall, letharginess and weight and also builds up your immune system.

yes you will have to continue with this medicine. Get your CBC done. Myxoedema is usually accompanied with anaemia too. Coarse n rough skin was due to Myxoedma(high tsh). Try to get Full thyroid profile T3 T4 TSH , not only TSH. With treatment, try to maintain TSH at the lowest of the  range levels of TSH. You can chat with me on practo, but be ready with reports, height n weight too. Stay healthy.
