So I had done my mother tested for thyroid T3 & TSH is in normal range, but her T4 is showing 14.3 Thou before the test she was fasting for 10-12 hours, she was currently on her thyronom 62.5mcg medicine which was not taken before the test. So some physician now has suggested her to take 50mcg medicine after seeing the report.. please help if she can continue with the old medicine or this 50mcg

Please continue the same dosage as previously taking.. The tsh is the value that is to be checked in patients on thyroid supplementation medicines.. Continue 62.5..repeat the test every 3 months and reduce the dosage only if the tsh value reduces to less than 1
