Increased TLC count indicates a bacterial infection I your body. Since association with cough is present probably you're having either an upper respiratory or lower respiratory infection which needs antibiotics and other meds. Take rest for a week and then repeat CBC for further management.

Do a urine routine and chest x ray to rule out infection.
