Which of these two is better to get idea about blockages in arteries? Tmt or calcium scan? My dad has been suggested tmt but i read many medical journals telling that TMT cant tell any blockage beyond 70%.. I also know a friend whose tmt was negative but he had attack later
Plz shed some light which test u wud recommend to ur patient

TMT is favorably good test but is has its own pros and cons. It can be false positive or negative in few cases.Calcium scan i m not sure, but i think u r talking about CT coronary angiography which is definitely a better test for ur age vs TMT.
