Toe nail fungal infection
My toe nail is infected by fungus. I'm taking canditral 100 mg as pulse treatment (7 days per month) for 3 month, clotrimazole usp lotion. But there is no change in the intensity of infection since one month of medication. Can I go for further assistance or to continue the same ?

Greetings - in the pulse treatment - canditral is usually taken - twice a day. Take complete course - only then could you say whther it has definitely worked or not. Improvement of nail fungus infection is rather slow and may need months of treatment in a few individuals. Continue follow up with your dermatologist. Caution: Make sure you see a qualified MD / DNB/ DVD dermatologist for all your skin and hair issues. Don’t be lured in by quacks. Know your treating doctor/ discourage quackery!Warm regards, Dr Govind Suresh Mittal. Bengaluru
