I just rest my voice and totally bed rest so that I will ok as much as possible. Is.it good I will observe first 1 or 2 weeks if theres an improvement before I go to see the doctor?

If you are suffering from acute tonsillitis then you need to take antibiotics, pain killer medicines along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days. Salt water gargling is other alternative
