Tonsills in the throat
I have tonsils in my throat. Earlier they used to be cured very soon , but now it took more than 2 months, they have been there for such a long time. I tried a number of antibiotics but anything doesn't seem to work. Kindly suggest.

Hello,, due to frequent taking,, or due to taking tablets for longer periods,, or improper dosing or not taking full course will cause bacterias to become resistance to antibiotics and antibiotics will not help.
In this case higher dose antibiotics or antibiotics from different group (not same group, like penicillin, cephalosporins) to be given. Consult a ENT specialist he will prescribe you that.
Do salt warm water gargling daily thrice,, avoid cold foods or items, to relieve tonsillitis faster.
