I want to know about the treatment for a bent tooth. Will it require braces? And if yes, how long will the treatment take ?

Hello Mam, A bent tooth means the tooth might be an irregularly placed in the mouth for which you would require orthodontic treatment to bring it back to its normal position. And yes you might require braces [ you can also opt for a tooth colored braces or invisible braces(clear aligner)]. The minimum time period is 1 year and it depends upon patient to patient. You can also opt for self ligating braces or invisible braces ,where the treatment time is reduced. get the smile u always wanted....gud day

Braces treatment usually lasts for a year or so. You can consult a dentist to check out your options. You can also opt for Invisalign which are clear trays you can wear for correction of bite instead of braces

The most commonly done treatment for malpositioning of teeth is braces. The exact duration of the orthodontic treatment cannot be told without examination as it depends upon many factors most importantly on the amount of correction needed. However an average orthodontic treatment lasts from about one to one and half years.
