Tooth Braces
I had permanent braces, at the age of 20 for 2 years. But Now, I am at 30 years old & I believe some of the teeth are getting relapsed. Shall I go for replaceable/impermanent braces WITH SAME DOCTOR? or Can I refer any Dentists.? Please advise

its better going back to orthodojntist(doctor specialised in braces) sometimes u might need to have treatment again for short time and after that retention appliance will be needed

Hi.. relapse is a body response and is bound to happen if retainers aren't worn for longer duration. Ideally retainers are for life. So plz visit same doctor and do as directed.

You need to get the treatment done again. You can go to any dentist. They will either do the treatment themselves or will call an orthodontist. Any which ways, after treatment you need to wear a retainer for a sufficient amount of time advised by the dentist. The relapse from the previous treatment is most probably because a poor compliance when it comes to retainers. Although if the movement of your teeth, is too sudden there can be another underlying cause as well. So you must see a dentist asap.
