Tooth extraction suggested for molar
Hi I am a 32 yrs male, Dentist has suggested to extract my molar teeth which is impacted. I take bp medicines (starpress xl 25) and my bp stays around normal. Also I take thyronorm 100. Is there a concern in extraction as I take bp medicines. Should I worry for extraction?

Get ur BP checked for 3 consequtive days with medicines. Visit a dentist in morning hours and have the medicine and get ur wisdom tooth extracted within 2 hours of taking ur bp medicine. Consult a maxillofacial surgeon for best treatment, who will be cautious and take ur bp readings before and after taking bp medicines and operate accordingly.

If your BP is under control there is no problem and extraction is safe. Don’t miss your regular medication and take it regularly

Hi... Extraction advised for impacted molar is normal. About your health issues, the best practice is to visit your physician for consent for extraction of tooth under local anesthesia with adrenaline. So once your physician gives consent you can be safe.
