Tooth issue
Got hole in my teeth...need to fill it..what would be the charges and how painful is the procedure?
I had a tooth removal process which was painful ao I don't want again to go through that

The hole (cavitation is due to caries)....
First and foremost x_ray(IOPA) is to be taken to rule out the extent of caries...
If the caries is superficial,
you need to go dor simple filling....
GIC..Rs.600
Composite..Rs.800
If the cavity is deep, Root canal treatment should be done......
Root canal treatment..Rs.3500

Fillings are normally not painful unless they are deep. But just because it might pain,u can't postpone the treatment. If delayed u will end up getting this tooth also extracted. I don't know why u had severe pain during ur last extraction as it is done under local anaesthesia n the tooth is removed only after the dentist confirms that there is no pain. Only chance is if there was severe infection and u had pus and hadn't taken proper antibiotics.
For the present tooth caries if it's small one, it won't charge much. But further delaying will make the treatment more expensive n will need more sittings too

Get it checked by dentist, he/she should be able to tell you, ways to treat it!
Sounds like you need simple filling. Charges can be anywhere between 1000-3000 depending upon the location and extent.
If it pains , it might require rct! Nevertheless dont delay, its progressive process

Hi.... It's better that you got aware on the right time. If you have a normal or small cavity/ hole with no pain in the tooth then it can be filled normally with a filling material without any pain .

Check with a dentist if a filling is enough or if u will need a root canal treatment.
Cost may vary from 500- 1500 for a filling and 2000-5000 for rct
