At times, a tooth which is filled previously might develop secondary cavities.
The reason for an issue are many, like... 1)fracture of the tooth filling, 2)new cavities on the same tooth, 3) improper/poorly done filling.
When such a situation arises the patient may experience sensitivity or in some cases mild- severe pain.
