I've been having serious tooth pain. Want to know if ciproflacin as prescribed by the doctor and ibuprofen will help subside the pain and swelling before the tooth is removed.

Antibiotics and painkillers are prescribed to help control infection. It may reduce pain but depends on the severity of infection

Antibiotics reduce the extent of infection and therefore the pain will be reduced... depending on the extent of the infection. Your tooth is the source of the infection,so please follow your dentist suggestions
