Tooth scaling
Is tooth scaling removes upper layer of teeth. As I heard after scaling many people tell that they have increased the sensitivity problem. I that true.

Scaling is done to remove the plaque n calculus on the teeth. Calculus looks like a layer of tooth..(coz both are of same color) . So people ll have the impression that they lost the layer of teeth.

After scaling sensitivity may increase slightly but that is not a problem. It will resolve on its own within a week or two. If the tartar is left then it will cause gum and periodontal disease. Get your scaling and polishing done at least once a year .

Hi...scaling doesn't remove any layer of teeth. It removes the deposits on teeth known as calculus. Teeth feel sensitive for a couple of days then its back to normal.
