Sometimes cause of tooth sensitivity are, 1. Presence of caries in tooth, which is approximating dentinal or pulp layer. Rx: RCT with or without antibiotic. 2. Wear off of teeth structure, enamel or dentinal structure which is approximating pulpal exposure. Rx: restoration/RCT 3. Calculus depisition-->gingival inflammation -->sensitivity Rx : scaling. 4.pericoronitis irt third molar most commonly. Rx analgesic with or without antibiotic. In case it is not exposing/approximaring the pulp layer, use local application of SENSIGEL/TOOTH MIN,4-5 times/day,before food, not to swallow saliva during the ointment applied on tooth, spit out after 3-4 minutes.
