Dear Doctor, My husband is experiencing a twitching and numb feeling on his tongue and left side of cheeks. Kindly suggest the causes and medication if any and which specialist doctor has to be visited. Thank you.

If the numbness ia not due to any dental cause you need to visit general phsician and he / she will refer specialist according to the cause... If the numbness is due to stroke ,you need to consult neurologist... if the numbness related to blood sugar level, need to consult diabetologist..
