What medication and precautions to take when triglyceride is 162 MG/dl . Cholesterol is in control. Hdl 44. Ldl 94.

Triglycerides 162. It is inly very minimally high.  You don't need any treatment for that. Your total cholesterol is not high as you mentioned. LDL( bad cholesterol ) is also good. If you dont have diabetes,  High BP or any coronary artery disease( heart blocks or any other issue) you don't need cholesterol medicine.  Advice to follow healthy diet and regular exercise and to check fasting  lipid profile after 6 months.

Medication needs to be given after clinical examination and as of now avoid Maida related food items , avoid oily related food items and avoid potatoes in your daily diet and recheck your lipid profile after two months and revert
