You can do sonosalpingogram from day 6-9 of periods

It is less painful than HSG but sensitivity and specificity is less than Hysterosalpingogram. It also doesn’t release the blocks in tubes . Hysterosalpingogram is both diagnostic test and treatment. Sonosalpingogram is just a test .
