My doctor suggested me to take 20 naturogest tablets for 20 days after ovulation, If period comes then doc said me to visit to her on the 2nd day of my cycle. if period doesn't come also I need to visit her after completing 20 tablets I want to know why I have to take this tablet and wait for periods and what if periods doesn't come after completin

These are progesterone tablets which are given as luteal support which means they help in implantation and early growth of baby. If there is pregnancy you will not get menses even after you stop these tabs but if there is no pregnancy you will get your periods in 4 to 5 days after stopping
