Trying to give 7 month old daughter meds
Trying to giver 7 month old daughter children's Motrin but it says to consult Dr she weighs 12 lbs. She is also teething.

Hi. Why are you giving Motrin to your baby? I presume you are giving for fever or pain . In small infants(less than 1 yr) it is better to show to a Pediatrician before giving any medicine for fever. Medicines have side effects eg Motrin can cause vomiting . So avoid them unless it is needed.
Also Tylenol (acetaminophen) is preferable to Motrin (ibuprofen) for conditions like fever, pains.
