Tsh in 2nd trimester pregnancy
My tsh is in 3.86  please suggest normal range . Doctor suggested me to take thyronium 50 mcg. Is it fine to take medicine.

All labs and measurements methods have different normal ranges but TSH has to be less than 3 in pregnancy.This is sub clinical hypothyroidism
Next Steps
Start thyronorm 50 daily before breakfast and repeat after 30 days

In non pregnant pt range is. 2-  5mcg In pregnancy in first 3months it is 2.5mcg ,in 2nd trimester it is 3mcg
