TSH of 5.5 in the first trimester
I have been having hypothyroidism for more than 15 years and been managing it with thyroxine. In the last 1 year my levels have been under control. My value in April was 1.8 and in July it was 3.9. However 2 days back it came back as 5.5 and I am 2 weeks pregnant. Is there a chance of it affecting baby's health? If yes, how can I reverse this? If not, what's the treatment?
