TT injection - Fever 2 days after
Hi Doctors,
Looking for your guidance here. My wife is into w21/2d of pregnancy and she was injected TT injection 3 days ago as part of the routine checkups. Following to which she had mild fever yesterday (99c degree) and today it is 101c degree. To add, due to weather change even I (husband) got some temperature yesterday but couple of paracetamol helped in my case. Not sure whether its advisable to take any medicine for her (wife) during these testing times. Please advice. We are a little worried about this as baby inside must be suffering too.

Invariably fever is not related to inj Tetanus .

Do a complete blood count and c reactive protein
Drink warm water and do saline water gargles

Give her paracetamol three time a day for three days
Cold sponging with tap water

Drink plenty of water and fruits juice
Drink electrol powder twice a day for three days with water

Hi there,
She can take paracetamol twice a day.
If fever still persists she should get investigated.
Fever in pregnancy should not be taken lightly.

Hi. She can take Paracetamol 500mg twice aday after food . If fever persist please consult the dr who gave you the injection .
