TUBERCULOSIS
Diagnosed with lymphnode tb. Taking att. Weight is 98 kg. Taking rifampcin 600 plus isoniazid 300 in morning. Ethambutol 1400mg at lunch, pyrazinamide 1750 mg at dinner. Is this dose and the way i m taking mediicines correct or do the individual drugs need to be taken together like in akt-4. . how long would it take for my fever to come dowN

Hi , First of all  you are taking daily medicine and not dots like regime ,so all drugs are in proper doses for daily dose ,as pyrazinamide can be increased to 2250 as it's dose is appx 25mg/kg ,you should also take pyridoxine tab daily and do your baseline test of liver function , Opthalmology check up and diet should be of increased protein ,take 3-4 eggs in a day if u r non vegetarian ,fever usually takes 2 weeks to subside

HELLO,   VERY NICE. RIFA  PLUS 600 IN EMPTY STOMACH,INH300 AFTER BREAKFAST, THAN EVENING OR NIGHT AFTER DINNER ETHAMBUTOL ,N PYRAZINAMID. DIET HEALTHY, MILK IN ABUNDANCE, PANEER, CHEESE, THESE ARE FOR TWO MONTHS. FEVER IS ALSO DECREASE AS BACTERIA  DIES BUT SLOWLY AS IMMUNITY OF YOUR BODY IS INCREASING.   DON'T WORRY. AFTER TWO MONTH THE MEDICINE REDUCED TO TWO. DON'T MISS ANY DOSE. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS, O.K, ,BYE.
