Tuberculosis
I had pleura fluid which doctors removed and sent for ADA Test which got 55 and doctors confirmed it's Tuberculosis. As it is related to the pleura fluid I confused of which tuberculosis I have whether pulmonary tuberculosis or pleura tuberculosis. My Gene xpert report result is mycobacterium not detected. Can you please advise me on this. And which category I belongs to like drug sensitive tuberculosis or drug resistance tuberculosis. Thanks in advance.

Required pleural fluid analysis reports to prove tb or not , possible of getting gene expert positive in pleural fluid is very low ,as it is mostly due to hypersensitivity reactions to tuberculin protein ,do a online consultation with a pulmonologist for further evaluation and management

It is pleural tuberculosis. The drug resistant pattern CNA only be said after appropriate test. For more discussion consult a pulmonologist online.
