Tuberculosis tests
Hi Doc, My x-ray shows a pulmonary nodule at the lower part of right lung, consider a granuloma.. I then had a tuberculin test, it shows a 18mm listeria type of induration. I believe I had BCG vaccine when I was a child. Would the above results mean I have infectious TB? Thank you.

These test doesn't confirm that you have TB. Sputum test is compulsory and if it comes negative then also depending on your chest x ray you can be started treatment for TB by your doctor. It is better to look at your x-ray film, kindly send it to me by clicking Chat button.
