I have been diagnosed with genital TB during laproscopy due to white tubercles seen in my omentum and intestines. However the culture report and genexpert are negative, doctor says this is nothing else but genital TB.
For TB treatment, she prescribed AKT4 for initial 2 months and then she will lower the dose. But, I have heard that DOTS treatment is more effective than the private AKT4 medicines. Would request you to please tell what is more effective in genital TB? For TB treatment, should I go to any DOTS center or can continue with my infertility specialist??
