Twitching in eyes
Hi There is twitching in my right eye throughout the day. I don't know if it's because of dryness. I have a Lubrex eye drop. Can I use it safely? Thanks

Hello there! Is this the first time you are getting this? How is your vision ? You can use Lubrex eye drops but one has to see why you are getting it. Try it for a few days if still not better you can come for a visit. Clinic is open full day Monday to Fri . Saturday half day.

Twitching of lids occur usually due to dryness or nutritional defficiencyor nerve irritation or mental stress  .Please identify the cause and follow accordingly.

Having twitching off & on ,is a nonspecific symptoms.  But if it's persisting & progressive , need to consult. Meanwhile, use some lubricant eye drops.

Lubrex is a lubricant eyedrops . You can use it safely. But your twitching eyes may not get resolved with only Lubrex. Common causes for twitching Lack of sleep Eye strain Excessive screen use / computer vision syndrome Dry eyes And other rare neurological causes.

Lubrex eye drops are safe to use     unless you are having severe dry eye we need to shift to preservative free lubricating eye drops We need to see what is a exactly cause for your twitching whether it is dryness blepharospasm trichiasis or other causes which needed to be treated accordingly We need to do schirmer test tear osmolarity test Slit lamp examination aesthesiometry
