You have a positive result for typhoid. You will need to go on antibiotics for 14 days minimum. It is adviceble if u take Iv antibiotics initially and then change over to oral. Nothing to woory you will be free of symptoms in a couple of days once the antibiotics is started.

Hello. The opinion given by drs are correct. however widal test is not very sensitive and specific for Typhoid fever . other infections can give rise to positive titers too.
Next Steps
if you had not taken antibiotics you can go for blood culture, the gold standard test for Typhoid infection.

The test should be done in second week of illness for having a reliable result. The dilution range shall change from place to place depending on the local population. Kindly check the dilutions for which it has to be considered as positive or normal. You need to be more specific regarding your fever description.
