Ulcer on tongue
I have got an ulcer on the side of my tongue. It is very painful and persistent since 3-4 days. Currently I am using betadine mouthwash and mouth heal gel but didn't find much improvement. Please suggest some way to reduce the pain. I have also tried gargling with salt water in warm water.

hello, you can apply baking soda over it or do baking soda in water mouthrinses. this will help to heal your ulcers. if they still persist, you need to consult a physician and get your Vitamin B levels checked. if required take supplements for it.

Ulcer on the side of tongue can be due to a sharp tooth or crown edges that can irritate the tongue and hence causing ulcers. In my opinion you should visit a dentist so the cause of this ulcer can be evaluated.
