1.Does Ulcerative Colitis progress while in Remission ? 2. I've been in remission for 3 years with very mild symptoms occassionally. Will the disease resurface or by when can I confidently say that I'm cured of UC.

Clinical remission doesn't mean that u have achieved endoscopic remission or histopathological remission. So disease may keep on progressing or be controlled it is difficult to say without repeat colonoscopy and biopsy. UC cure can be said if repeat scopy after 3 yrs is normal and biopsy also normal.
