  4. Umblical hernia for 35 years lady. Only!

Umblical hernia for 35 years lady
I done umblical hernia surgery laprascopy last year december 2016, that time without mesh, doctors done that operation. Now I have got again umblical hernia, I have hypothyroid 7.5 level now I have suggested to do open surgery, is it ok to do operation kindly advise sir. I have thyroid problems from 3 years taking tablets 25mg normal only

Hi recurrence of hernia is common, it doesn't deepens wether you do open surgery or laparoscopic surgery. Though lap survey is gold standard in today's world.. If you wish you can  meet me personally by booking an appointment through Practo , will help you out.
