Uncontrolled level of TSH in pregnancy
I was taking 50 mg thyroxine for an yr. Now in 3 month pregnancy tsh was 4.5,so,i increased to 75 mg. Now at 5th month my tsh is 7u .What shud i do to control my thyroid hormone level.

Hi, In pregnancy due to various reasons TSH increases and also to improve fetal growth doses of thyroxin needs to be accordingly adjusted. We also need to check levels of fT3 , fT4 and any symptoms of hypothyroidism. Based on that dosage needs to be adjusted.
