The cost varies from 3500-8000. There is a variety of crowns available. One, where the ceramic covers the metal coping known as pfm crown. Costs around 3-4k. Other is the advanced version that doesn't have metal. Made of ceramic known as zirconia crowns. Costs about 6-8k. The advantage of zirconia crowns is enhanced esthetics and no metal so it can be used in all patients. The disadvantage of the pfm crown is just that after few years, the ceramic wears off because of chewing forces and then the metal becomes visible which some people find it unesthetic.
