Unprotected sex. I-pill taken within 5hr

This is one of the commonest problem encountered by a pcos patient as due to their irregular periods they are not sure about their delay in periods is due to the pcos or due to pregnancy persay. If you have a history of unprotected intercourse with i-pill taken , I would suggest you to do a UPT( urine pregnancy test ) or serum beta hcg( hormonal test to diagnose pregnancy) as the treatment depends on the test. If the test is negative then you can wait for your periods or take the tablets to get your periods as per your local gynaecologists discretion . Once you get your periods you can start taking the birth control pills from the second day as along with contraception , it will be beneficial for your pcos. If the pregnancy test is positive then you need to rush to your nearest gynaecologist without a day and seek for his/ her help.
