Unwanted pregnancy

Asked for Female, 26 Years

I havent used any contraceptive pill till date. Is it ok to have it (unwanted 72 or I pill) with my current epilepsy medication? If not please suggest some other contraceptive method to prevent unwanted pregnancy. I am currently using "sodium valproate and valproic acid" Tabs 250mg thrice a day for epilepsy treatment.

anti epileptics decrease the efficacy of contraception pills. its advisable to uSe some other form of contraception.
