Urge to urinate after thrush.

Asked for Male, 43 Years

Hello. Five weeks ago I had what I think was a thrush infection on my penis. I had red blotches, no discharge, a little burning. I treated it with Canesten and it improved. After two weeks I started getting an urge to urinate. I went to doc after four weeks. He gave me Flucanazole and did urine microbiology and that came back normal. I have irritation in penis and urge to urinate which is worse from lunchtime to evening. I sleep ok. My urine flow is steady and normal. Can you advise please?
