Urgent help needed
My mother is suffering with breast cancer as told by a local doctor.it all started with a small bulge on the upper portion of the mammary gland 2-3 years ago.she has following symptoms:-
1)her right breast has increased in size and has. become very heavy because of which she walks with a tilt towards right in her body posture.
2)for the last few weeks she is facing excessive pain.
3)the pain and swelling has spread even to her tummy,right hand.
4)she is no more able to hold things properly using her right hand.
5)touching the effected portion gives a stone like sensation.
I have very poor currently residing in patna.had gone to mahavir cancer institute but have got a date of almost a month later.my mother is in extreme pain.really dont know what to do.please help.

Confirm the diagnosis of breast cancer first..
Get FNAC/ biopsy done from Oncosuregon (prefferd) or local general surgeon..
A antibiotics course and painkillers till the reports is available would be prescribed for patient..
Once report of cancer is available, depending on stage of disease, cancer treatment can be initiated ..
Next Steps
visit to oncosuregon or general surgeon for FNAC and biopsy and supportive treatment..followed by Oncologist opinion..if severe pain persist after cancer diagnosis , palliative radiation therapy to breast followed by chemotherapy

Start with some pain killer and visit physician for symptomatic treatment and then report to cancer centre

She will need systemic chemotherapy followed by response assesment and decide further treatment.Painkillers and supportive care for pain will be helpful.

Did she receive any treatments
As per your history, she might be suffering with locally advanced breast cancer, infiltrating skin and that might be the cause of local pain. She needs palliative chemotherapy and supportive care for pain relief.
