If urine culture test is not available does urine analysis can tell if a infection is available or not just urine analysis?

Number of pus cells per high power field does give an idea But there are other causes of pus cells in urine Your clinical history and symptoms are also important And broad spectrum antibiotics can be started if the most probable cause looks like UTI Ultrasound KUB with post void residual urine is also very important in this scenario

Urine analyis can suggest infection.....but can't confirm it....urinary stone,yubeculosis,malignancy all show same features in urine ananlyis So for definitive and confirmatory test culture is mandatory Nevertheless treatment can be started with urine analyis only

Yes analysis only gives indication of presence of infection. But it doesn’t tell us about the type of bacteria involved and the antibiotics that will effectively kill that bacteria
