Usage of syrup
Hi,my son is suffering with fever from 2days,his age is 3yr11 months.By mistake I used expired calpol 250mg syrup for one day every 4 hours.the expired date is February 2018.what Wii happen? please reply soon

It is unlikely that anything would happen due to the expired date. However, Calpol should be used at intervals of at least 6 hours. Too frequent dosing can result in overdose and damage to the liver.
Next Steps
Use Calpol judiciously at intervals of 6 hours. If child shows any signs of his liver being affected, like jaundice etc, then visit a hospital near you.
