Using tea tree oil for acne
Hello, can I follow this routine for treating acne at night? 1. Use face wash 2. Apply vaseline petroleum jelly 3. Mix tea tree oil with water and dap on to pimples. I hope using vaseline with tea tree oil wont create harmful reaction.

Petroleum jelly will worsen the acne. Stop self treatment. The treatment of acne differs according to the grade of involvement and acne is graded according to the severity. Some people have more oiliness on the face which results in zits and breakouts. The treatment for acnr has to be continued for longer duration to cover for any recurrences. Diet and lifestyle modification also help a lot in acne. please don't use any home remedies and self treatment such as over-the-counter steroid. you should never burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. the marks and pores left behind by the pimples can also be treated. please send photos through online consultation for proper examination and detailed prescription.

U can.. however treatment depends on the grade..Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
