Uterus open at 20 weeks
Dear doctor,
My wife is having pregnancy of 20 weeks.today she completed her 05 months. She is suffering mild pain in her lower abdomen and bladder area. We consult doctor today and he tailed that her uterus being open minor so he suggested for take stitches in utters area.
Is that stiches can care of uterus for next 4 months. Is this is good in this situation. What's is the risk of misscarige after this stiches.
Please suggest.

If length of cervix is less in ultrasound or there is previously miscarriage then the cervical cerclage stitches are really good
