UTI problem
Respected Dr, My baby weight is 8kg. And he is 7 month old. In last month he suffered from UTI from 11dec. After that we do USG and found nothing. Now again on yesterday he get infected. He has fever 101f and vomiting. Which medicine should I give for better results.

Get a urine routine n culture test done. After treatment of this episode of febrile UTI ... baby might need a MCU to rule out VUR ( reflux ) ... Usg may be normal in such cases .

Syp Septran 4 ml twice perday x 10 days ,, Syp p250 2.5 ml 6hourly x3 days,, Syp Emeset 1.5ml once perday x2 days,,, please collect Urine for culture and review here with report

Urine culture sensitivity report is very important to start correct antibiotics. So you should get if done urgently.

He needs an antibiotic. Please consult your pediatrician. Because based on the previous response to antibiotics he will decide one now. Get a urine culture done too. Antibiotics may have to be revised after the culture report
