Hello doctor i have given MMR vaccine to my son at 9 months of age and MMR 2 (dec 2016)at 5 years .In this week at his school in the govt campaign do i need to give him again the measels and rubella vaccine?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  If your child is between the age of 9 months to 15yrs, then it is to be given regardless of previous vaccination status as per the circular. However its not necessary if you have already given it. But it will not be a problem if you do it again. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
