Hi..My baby is due for MMR and JE dosage 1 on 3rd April 2020.we couldn't get them done due to lockdown.But i am very much worried of postponing it further.I am planning to get it as soon as possible. But recently situation had worsen here in chennai due to a market.I am confused now.can i delay it further or get it done??what are the precautions to be taken for the baby if we go out for a PHC to get him vaccinated??He is too small to wear a mask over his face.what to do now??plz suggest...

These vaccines are mandatory and it is already delayed. If your baby has received MMR at 9 months, it can be delayed by 4 weeks. Kindly enquire at the PHC whether any specific instructions you need to follow prior to taking the baby for vaccination. Avoid touching any surfaces at the PHC. Carry a change of clothes or wrap him in a cloth. After vaccination, change his clothes or give him a bath as soon as you get home.
