Vaccination swelling
Baby got immunized in last month 10 th in his thigh, it was swelling till now , I used ice cubes to get rid of that , but it was not cured . Can anyone suggest me how to get rid of that rather than ice cubes.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. The swelling occurs dye to bleeding inside muscle , which is obviously due to needle cutting through the tissue. It will take 2-3 months and resolve.
Next Steps
Every time after any injection remember to press that area constantly for at least 5 min, check for bleeding after 5min , if present press for another 5min. this will prevent from swelling next time.
