My wife had undergone treatment for undefined inflammatory Arthritis six years back.Treatment lasted for 2 years. As of now there are no medications and she is stable. But she has occasional knee back and leg pain.
My query is can she take covid vaccine ?
Is covishield suitable?
Is there any tests to be done before vaccination?
Any medicine required to be taken before vaccination?
Thanks.

1.Yes she can take the vaccine.
2. Covisheld has proven to be efficacious, but due to the ADR there are not many takers.
3. if possible get a CBC, RBS, CXR done.
4. Medication before vaccination, none.
