VALPORIN FOR FEBRILE SEIZURE
My two year old son has been asked to take Valporin syrup for febrile seizure (A typical) daily 5ml for 2 yrs.I would like to know of it will have any side effects in future. He has got febrile seizure 4times but only when he was down with fever.first time around 8months(101¤).Twice in a day when he was 18months(101¤) and once in 28months(99.9).the time was maximum 90secs not longer than that. He got seizures only when he had fever.His EEG results showed no complications all was ok.pls advise

Just consult a good paediatrician... Valparin might not be required for it... It is prescribed when MRI not done and frequent sezuires within single day.. get investigated thoroughly.....
