Hello, My father is having varicose veins in his left leg. I have searched a lot on this and looking at his condition it is pretty severe. The condition has now gone up to his knees and the leg is completely swollen, skin is black in color and he has got wound (big and multiple) which keep draining water or some liquid. wanted to know which is the best treatment for this condition and how long it will take fr him. I want only non-surgical options - like laser or cupping ?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  According to your description, the condition has progressed far. You also have to understand that just searching here and there would just cause you to waste time. You have to accept its not your subject, do not waste time. Also, the treatment is solely decided by the treating surgeon. He will do what is best for the patient. I dont think you get to decide how it needs to be treated. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

Hello....... It takes more time for varicose veins to progress... But your fathers varicose veins are progressed which has lead to complications like sores... Now you shouldn't delay... Get him operated for varicose veins... Consult general surgeon in nearest hospital..
