My sister who is on medication for bipolar disorder with hints of schizophrenia has now started hitting other family members when her demands are not met. She wants to go to college and we cannot send her there-please suggest how to manage this- any good explanation on why she cannot go anywhere?? Need this suggestion urgently as this college issue is a major trigger to the anger & violence in her

We need to understand the exact cause of violence. If other symptoms (of Schizophrenia/Bipolar) are also present, it is most likely related to exacerbation of illness and may respond best to tinkering the medicines. If, it is otherwise, detailed sessions with her may work.

What is the problem you people fear might happen at college.
Is she sleepy or drowsy due to tablets, Or,
Her aggressive behavior!???
How is her performance in Academics!!!!
If you people have a doubt about her behavior at college,
Take permission from the management, to give special permission for her to attend for half a day.
